This pear has been waiting in the studio for a week and a half (its changed quite a bit) for me to get around to painting it. The clear light from the right and its particular gesture are what moved me. Its actually this pear from different vantage point.
The firm young pear perches atop a pile of slowly perishing fruit, Waiting and persistently ripening, its hues evolving, each morning more lovely, leaning left so the sun shows it's most rosey side. Patiently waiting to be painted.
