A Moroccan Sketchbook: One Artist's Vision of Marrakech
Monday, February 4, 2013 7:00pm
Come and be dazzled by the light, color and textures of Morocco. In 2012 local artist Margaret Owen traveled to Marrakech with a group of painters. NowMargaret brings Morocco to us with photographs and paintings, presenting Morocco through a painter's eye. She discusses her experience as an artist and will also illuminate her painting process, comparing reference photos with watercolor sketches and paintings. This program is free and open to all.

Thanks you guys:) Christine, it is fascinating to me, all those arches and alleyways, the architecture, the contrast of the dusty streets with the beautiful textiles..and the tree in that picture is an orange tree, when i was there they were in blossom and smelled wonderful...:)
