I painted his one at home from a gorgeous photograph that one of the Sues sent me last night (there are a lot of Sues in watercolor class). Thanks Sue!
This week in watercolor class we painted ferns. Students sipped Moroccan mint tea while I had my way with this seedless vascular plant. I am impressed by how the students manage to balance their buoyant good cheer with studious diligence. As I sit here writing about the "fern" I am wondering if it really is a fern? Maybe its a palm of some sort? Would the horticulturists among you come to my aid?
These are all 8.5"x12", pencil, pen and watercolor on watercolor paper.
