Japanese for Hydrangea and the name of the satellite I encountered, so to speak, last night while painting the moon. (For the second night in a row!) One of Ajasai's objectives is "to determine the exact position of the many Japanese islands". Oil on panel, 12"x12" (I ran out of the smaller ones).
While I was painting my daily moon satellite MIDORI II passed by. It took about 15 seconds to pass across the moon but I searched on my beloved app and was presented with a still picture. Thrilling. (Approximately 6"x6", oil on panel.)
