Actually the art show is in North Carolina, not South Carolina, oops.  In NC the cardinal is state bird, flower= dogwood.  (But I am still planning to paint the yellow jessamine of SC)

Pan's Labyrinth.

Last night we watched part of Pan's Labyrinth with director Guillermo del Toro commenting as the film played.  Thanks for the suggestion Colette, it was great! I have also discovered some free podcast interviews with del Toro.  Not having any recent paintings owing to my Sweetums being home with a stuffy nose I dug this painting out for today.  (She has a lot in common with the rabbit doesn't she?)
